Before you start, picture how you want to arrange the dots on the nail. We recommend beginning with a first row of dots in the centre of the nail then adding a row on each side. On short nails, it's best to do 3 dots in the centre and 2 on each side, keeping the spacing even for a harmonious result.
Our favourite combo? A Dark Pansy burgundy polish base topped with Light Blue dots… or the other way round, for an equally adorable effect!
Mini hearts
Impossible to resist these charming little hearts. Nothing could be simpler to create: just draw two small V-shaped lines using a fine-tip brush. In just a few moves, your little hearts come to life!

If you love graphic effects and playing with contrast, here's a foolproof nail design. Apply the pop red polish with pink undertones Spicy as a base. Using a fine brush, draw a diagonal line, then fill in the corner of the nail with the pastel purple polish Wisteria. A bold play on colours that adds a sparkling touch to your manicure.

The mini French
Cute but never boring, the mini French manicure wins hearts with its ultra-fine, delicate line, perfect for flattering short nails with a crisp, thoroughly clean girl finish.
Here, we start with a sheer pink base Milky Pink, then create the French with the light blue polish Bubble. To nail it every time, use the Mani Stamper, that magic tool that lets you create the French smile in seconds, with no shaky hands. Apply a line of polish to the silicone stamp, then gently press it onto the edge of the nail. The stamp moulds to the curve of the nail and deposits just the right amount of polish to draw the French line. Use a corrector pen to wipe away any polish overspill under the nail or on the sides.

To create your own version of glazed nails, apply a Glazed effect powder (4 shades to choose from at Manucurist) over a neutral polish base (a milky white, a sheer pink or a nude) to achieve that glossy, luminous finish. Use a dust brush to remove any excess powder from your nails, then seal the Glazed effect with a layer of top coat suited to the polish used.
Glitter effects
Fancy adding a bit of sparkle to your nails, and your life? Nothing could be easier! If your favourite colour doesn't come in a glittery version, simply spice it up with a layer of silver or gold glitter top coat, the choice is yours.
