What nail polish colours will be trending for spring 2024? From tangy, acidic hues to ultra-luminous effects and pastel colours: discover the latest trends to wear on your nails!

Heading for Hawaii: the return of bright colours

A few rays of sunshine and the Island Girl trend is back in the spotlight! Exotic flowers and brightly colored, vitamin-rich fruits are her main inspirations: the Island Girl spends her days on the beach, sipping coconut water and sprinkling her hair with colourful flowers. She wears acidic shades that contrast her sun-kissed complexion. We've fallen for the shade Peonie pink, reminiscent of the hibiscus flower, available in Green™ advanced traditional-style polish and Green Flash™ LED gel polish

Experience this tropical ambience with Manucurist’s Hawaiian Hibiscus set, inspired by the famous Hawaiian flower, a symbol of beauty, love, connection and bonding with nature. Inside, an array of acidic pinks and oranges: Abricot, Sunset, Pulp, and Péonie, all paired with a soft, sweet Hortencia.

To maintain her radiant glow and enhance her warm summer skin, the Island Girl fills up on vitamins thanks to exotic fruits. A healthy, balanced diet to keep you in top form, and to match all your looks from bikini to evening gown. Embodying the life described in the latin phrase “mens sana in corpore sano”, meaning “A healthy mind in a healthy body”.

Reminiscent of fruit juices, smoothies or acai bowls, we love the bright and refreshing feeling of the shades in the Pineapple Paradise Trio: Sunset, Abricot and Shell.

The New Blue

While turquoise came out of the shadows last summer, this year it is giving way shades such as Teal, Sapphire and Pacific blue. Hues reminiscent of the cover of Dua Lipa's next album, due for release on May 3. It shows the artist lounging a few meters from a shark fin. The album title? Radical Optimism. Radical optimism, in other words, a way of navigating troubled waters to better apprehend change.

A mindset we like to keep in mind with a light-catching, yet soothing manicure inspired by the ocean, thanks to the Seaside Escape Colour Collection, which brings together the shades Lilas, Light Blue, Mint, Snow and Mermaid

Spotlight on Light-Bending Effects

Explore the depths of the sea with the oyster nail trend, a condensation of the glazed effect popularized by Hailey Bieber with a play of materials reproducing the raised surface of an oyster with pearly reflections. For a simplified version, we fall for the classic pearly white shade Moon, with its opaque coverage and iridescent finish.

Make-up, beauty, nail and fashion trends have always interacted and drawn inspiration from each other. Take for example the ultra glossy, dewy, luminescent “no-makeup” makeup looks and their obvious link to nail trends like the soap nail and jelly polish trends. Several names for this clean, luminous effect of “just-washed” looking nails. We love to reproduce it with slightly rosy shades for a nail that looks as if it's just stepped out of a bubble bath. We're thinking in particular of the Manucurist shade Hortencia, which enhances the nail's natural colour for an ultra-clean, polished and chic effect.

This spring, Moon and Pale Rose are featured in the Neutral Chic polish Colour Collection, alongside Snow, Blossom and Gold. The perfect blend of neutrals and glittery, iridescent shades for a sleek, glowy manicure.

A Walk in the Garden

With the slightest ray of sunshine, there's only one thing we want to do: lounge in a park on the grass before going to the florist to decorate your apartment with the freshest blooms. Trees are budding, flowers are blooming and birds are singing. Like Gigi Hadid, we're going out to fill up on vitamin D (with our freshly applied sunscreen of course!) and breathe in nature. Gone are the plaid and candles, and we're back to life outside, waiting for patio season with the shade Mint on our nails.

New Nudes & Pastels

Sunny days also mean the return of pastels and light colours. Take a step back from basic beige neutrals and opt for brighter tones like creamy whites: Milky White or Crème. These colors can be worn like a timeless tank top, think Taylor Swift on the cover of the 1989 album reissue.

There's nothing more soothing to wake up to than the colours of the spring sky: a palette of cream, blue and lilac shades like found in the Creamy Sky Trio, featuring the Manucurist colours: Créme, Light Blue and Lisa Lilas for an airy pastel manicure.

Spring is the perfect time to enjoy the soothing softness of pastel shades. Light Blue, Gloss, Lisa Lilac... the choice is yours!
