Its make-up finish is buildable:

Sustainable Packaging

Glass Bottle: Emptied, cleaned and dried bottles can either be reused or placed in a recycling bin seperate from other materials to avoid contamination. If your local manicapality does not accept glass for recycling, bottles can be brought to a collection center. No need to remove labeling.

Plastic Cap (Plastic-type #5 - Polypropylene): Clean and remove cap from brush attachment and place in recycling bin or bring to a local collection center.

Nail Brush (Plastic-type #4 - Low Density Polyethylene): Clean and remove cap from brush and place in recycling bin or bring to a local collection center.

What effect does Active™ Blur have on nails?

Active™ Blur creates a soft-focus, blurring effect. Ridges and imperfections are smoothed, making the nail surface appear more even, with an elegant matte, powdery finish.

Can I use the polish in the Active™ range with Green™ or Green Flash™?

Our Active™ range is not compatible with Green Flash™! The products in our Active™ range should be used on their own and air-dry in just a few seconds, so don't require a lamp!

To enjoy the beneficial effects of our Active™ range, the product needs to be in direct contact with the nail. So there's no need to use it as a top coat. If you want to use a base coat that cares for your nails under your Green™ polish, use one of our treatment base coats.

Can I use the polish in the Active™ range with a treatment base coat?

The products in the Active™ range should be applied to bare nails. You don't need to use a base coat, as each product in the range is also a treatment, so has to be in contact with your nails. You don't need a top coat either, as it already has a high-shine finish!

Can I layer Active™ products for an even greater "wow" effect, like makeup?

Yes! The Active™ range is endlessly buildable, so you can layer it to vary the effect and intensity.

How do I remove the polish in the Active™ range?

You can remove Active™ products in the same way as our polish - with a gentle nail polish remover, with our Nail Polish Remover or with Green Flash™ Nail Polish Remover.

Do I need a lamp to use Active™ polishes?

No. Active™ polishes air-dry quickly without the need for a Green Flash™ lamp.

Can I use Active™ polishes with a care base coat?

No. Active™ products should be applied directly onto bare nails. These care polishes need contact with the nail. There’s no need for a top coat either, since the finish is already naturally shiny!

Par contre il faut mettre au moins 3 couches, pour que ce soit un peu laiteux, sinon c’est vraiment très transparent, et comme c’est mat c’est pratiquement invisible. Aussi, petit détail que j’ai moins apprécié: le vernis jaunît avec les UV. Pas idéal pour les vacances au soleil."

L'unico difetto é che tende a renderle fragili, mi si spezzano molto frequentemente, anche se le porto molto corte. Ma se le tengo cortissime ho visto che resistono di più. Forse bisogna mettere una base che le protegga dallo smalto, non saprei. In ogni casoo acquisterò di nuovo"

The only product that makes a real difference!

"My nails have always been super thin, we are talking paper thin. Ive been using this and a few others from the active range and my goodness, I can actually grow my nails out a bit and they look soooo good. The other good thing about this is that without a top coat it drys matte, but not too matte. Just looks like my nails but a little nicer (liked tinted moisturiser for the face) which means I can get away with something protecting my nails at work (lots of handwashing but nails have to be bare). I did put a top coat over this today because I fancied some shine. I always have an active range shade as a base coat on and have done for probably 3 months or so and I have the best nails now that I have ever had, and I used to bite my nails quite badly when I was a teenager and young adult. I rarely write reviews but this stuff deserves one!"

"Love this product. Purchased after stopping gel manicures. My nails were brittle, stained, with white blotches and grooves. This product covers the blemishes & helps protect them while they grow out and return to their natural condition. After 8-12 weeks my nails are strong & healthy again. I love the natural, bare, matte look and am continuing to use as my polish. Easy to apply (I like 2 coats) and dries very quickly. Doesn’t chip exactly it just kind of wears off in places after a week but it’s so easy to apply that once a week works for me. This product has been a lifesaver after ruined nails from gel polish. Will never use gel polish again!"
