How to use Vitaminised Base Coat Green Flash™?

Step 1 – Nail Prep
Cleanse your nails with Nail Prep or Green Flash™ Gentle Remover to eliminate any oils.

Step 2 – Vitaminised Base Coat Green Flash™
Apply a thin layer of Vitaminised Base Coat Green Flash™, making sure to cap the nail edge. Cure under the 36W Premium LED Lamp for 1 minute.

Step 3 – Green Flash™ Colour
Apply a thin layer of your favourite Green Flash™ colour, capping the nail edge, then cure under the 36W Premium LED Lamp for 1 minute.
Repeat Step 3 to apply a second thin coat of colour.

Step 4 – Green Flash™ Top Coat
Apply a layer of Green Flash™ Top Coat, capping the nail edge, then cure under the 36W Premium LED Lamp for 2 minutes.

What’s the difference between the new Vitaminised Base Coat Green Flash™ and the original Base Coat Green Flash™?

The new Vitaminised Base Coat Green Flash™ features an innovative molecular complex combining Hexanal, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E, designed to protect and fortify nails under colour. While the original Base Coat Green Flash™ offered protection, it did not provide the same strengthening benefits. Now, your nails get the best of both worlds—reinforcement + long-lasting wear!

Do I have to use a Base Coat?

Our Base Coat protects your nails and helps our Green Flash™ polish to last longer. It will ensure staying power and shine for up to 12 days.

When should I apply my Base Coat?

The Base Coat is the first step in a Green Flash™ manicure. It is applied to bare, prepped nails, i.e. the oil has been already been removed with Green Flash™ Nail Oil Remover or Nail Polish Remover. You then have to cure it under a lamp.

Does the Base Coat care for and protect my nails?

Our new Green Flash™ Vitamin-Enriched Base Coat strengthens and protects your nails under their colour thanks to its patented KeraHCE+ formula that combines hexanal with vitamins C and E. It helps your Green Flash™ polish to adhere for long-lasting, ultra-pigmented colour and a mirror shine for up to 12 days.

How long does it take to cure my Green Flash™ polish?

The curing time depends on your lamp:

36W lamp (Pro Lamp): 1 minute for the base coat, 1 minute for each coat of colour, 2 minutes for the top coat.
24W lamp (Slim Lamp): 2 minutes for the base coat, 2 minutes for each coat of colour, 3 minutes for the top coat.

These times have already been programmed into your Manucurist lamp and it is important that you don't exceed them! Each coat should still be very slightly tacky at the end of each step so it adheres to the next.

Why does Green Flash™ Base Coat never fully dry?

It is normal that our Base Coat does not dry completely the first time you cure it under the lamp! It is designed to only partially dry so that your colour adheres better.

Will Green Flash™ Base Coat work with a gel nail polish from another brand?

Green Flash™ Base Coat has a plant-based formula that is only compatible with Green Flash™ polish.
