I've never used gel polish before - is it tricky?

Anyone can apply Green Flashβ„’, including complete beginners!

If you know how to use regular nail polish you can use Green Flashβ„’: you apply the base coat, colour and top coat in exactly the same way. The only difference is that you cure your nails under the lamp!

If you know how to use gel polish, there are a few points to note. Applying Green Flashβ„’ is more like applying regular nail polish: there's no need to remove oil first and the polish is not buildable like gel polish, so you need to get it right from the start.

We recommend that you treat it like regular nail polish that has to be dried under a lamp!
Is Green Flashβ„’ compatible with other brands?

Unfortunately not, each formula is unique and made from different ingredients. Our Green Flashβ„’ products should always be used with other Green Flashβ„’ products to ensure the best results. You will need (at least):

  • One Green Flashβ„’ base coat
  • One Green Flashβ„’ colour
  • One Green Flashβ„’ top coat
  • An LED lamp with an output of at least 24W

For effective removal, we highly recommend using Green Flashβ„’ plant-based Nail Polish Remover and the accompanying nail clips.

Points to note:
Using a Green Flashβ„’ colour with a base coat and top coat from another gel/regular nail polish brand will not work.
Using a Green Flashβ„’ base coat with a colour and top coat from another gel/regular nail polish brand will not work. etc.
What is the difference between a traditional gel polish and Green Flashβ„’?

The "peel-off" removal: it can be removed at home without acetone, rubbing or filing it off!

It dries instantly: using an LED lamp with an output of at least 24W at a frequency that is less harmful to nails than UV lamps!

Up to 84% plant-based ingredients that are also vegan and non-toxic (really)!

Can using Green Flashβ„’ cause allergies?

Green Flashβ„’ meets European standards and does not contain any sensitising substances like the monomers and methyl acrylate found in many traditional gel polishes. Many customers have testified that they have been able to use our products safely, even if they were allergic to other types of gel polish. However, allergic reactions are not specifically related to chemical ingredients, so we cannot guarantee that you won't have a reaction to another ingredient, even a natural one. How old do you have to be to use Green Flashβ„’ gel polish?

Our Green Flashβ„’ polish is recommended for ages 16+.
Can I use a Greenβ„’ treatment base coat under a Green Flashβ„’ polish?

Unfortunately not, our Greenβ„’ treatment base coats are only compatible with products from our Greenβ„’ range. You have to use a Green Flashβ„’ base coat for a Green Flashβ„’ manicure. But you can apply a treatment base coat between Green Flashβ„’ manicures to give your nails a little extra TLC!
How can I stop brush marks from appearing in my Green Flashβ„’ polish?

To stop brush marks from appearing in your Green Flashβ„’ polish, you need to apply it in very thin coats using no more than 3 brushstrokes! To get the right amount of product on your brush, scrape the brush stick against the inside neck of the bottle to remove any excess.
Then wipe it from one side of the brush. You should be left with a small drop on the tip of the brush! Use one drop of polish for each finger.
How can I give my Green Flashβ„’ manicure a shine boost after a few days?

If you are wearing Green Flashβ„’ polish, you can apply a coat of our Color Refresher on top of it after a few days. You don't need to cure it, as it air-dries.
